We all at some stage in our jobs may have to write a technical report, whether for committees, accident investigation findings, engineering projects or to present a technical paper at a conference. Technical reports need to follow a structured standard and format to ensure that the report is focussed, logical and deals with the respective report subject in a well-presented way.
