INTRODUCTION

This EuroMaTech training course on Advanced Strategic Project & Risk Management examines project management tools and techniques, to help ensure success for medium to large and complex projects. Project management processes are examined in detail, and includes, stakeholder management, with advice on how senior managers within an organization, are able to support projects and the project manager to a successful delivery.

This 10 day training course aligns with the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®)

Participants will develop the following competencies:

  • Project Initiation and start up, including roles and responsibilities
  • Project scope management in order to build quality into project plans
  • Project planning and estimating, including resource and costs
  • Critical path and critical chain methodologies to enhance scheduling thought process, and the development of solid, reliable, efficient and effective baselined project plans
  • Stakeholder identification and analysis, with strategies for engaging different types of stakeholders
  • Advanced project risk and uncertainty analysis. Strategies for handling uncertainty, and applying advanced methods for applying a project management risk process
  • Project monitoring and control techniques during Execution

This 10-day training course, comprises of two parts, as detailed below:

Module 1 - Strategic Project Management

Module 2 - Project Risk Management & Compliance

Each module has been developed distinctly, such that it can can be attended as an individual 5-day training course. However, for optimum training outcome, participants are encouraged to attend Module 1 and Module 2, as a complete 2-week training course.
