INTRODUCTION
This EuroMaTech Electrical Safety training course emphasises on the importance of arc flash electrical safety with reference to shock hazards, burns, incident energies, limits of approach, personal protective equipment and arc flash mitigations.
An arc flash may happen when conductive objects are placed near exposed conductors. Dropped tools may also cause sparks that may lead to arc blasts. Arc flash safety measures also mention the importance of inspecting old electrical tools with bad parts or worn-out wires.
