- Establishing the architecture capability and principles in the Preliminary Phase

- Requirements Management as the central driver of the ADM cycle
- Defining architecture principles, scope and constraints
- Building the Statement of Architecture Work
Day 3: Business, Data and Application Architecture (Phases B and C)

- Modelling business capabilities, processes and organizational structure
- Phase C: developing the Data Architecture and data governance
- Phase C: developing the Application Architecture and interfaces
- Gap analysis between baseline and target architectures
- Applying the Architecture Content Framework artefacts to each domain
Day 4: Technology Architecture, Opportunities, Migration and Governance (Phases D-G)
- Phase D: developing the Technology Architecture
- Phase E: identifying opportunities and solutions, and grouping work packages
- Phase F: migration planning and prioritizing implementation projects
- Phase G: implementation governance and architecture compliance reviews
- Phase H: architecture change management and managing ongoing change
- Using the Architecture Repository and Enterprise Continuum
Day 5: Practitioner Applications, Adaptation and Examination Preparation
- Adapting the ADM for scale, agility, security and digital transformation
- Applying TOGAF® with other frameworks, such as ArchiMate and ITIL
- Architecture governance, maturity models and capability-based planning
- Case study workshop: applying the ADM to a real-world scenario
- Examination format, structure and revision strategies
- Foundation and Practitioner mock examination and review
