Training Methodology  

Participants to this EuroMaTech training course will receive a thorough training on the subjects covered by the seminar outline with the Tutor utilising a variety of proven adult learning teaching and facilitation techniques. Seminar methodology includes stimulating presentations supporting each of the topics together with interactive trainer lead sessions of discussion. Role-plays, small group work, videotaped presentation exercises and feedback will be used to facilitate learning.

There will also be practical sessions where participants will give a presentation and receive immediate coaching and feedback from the Tutor and the group. These presentations will be given to the participants on a USB drive to take home and use for further reflection and evaluation.

Day 3 : Setting Objectives & Developing Presentations
  • Identifying and meeting learning needs
  • Step-by-step guide to building a presentation
  • Methods for instruction (on-line, classroom, coaching, etc.)
  • Using learning objectives to improve training
  • Practical workshop: Writing objectives using bloom’s taxonomy
Day 4 : Developing Your Training Skills
  • Using PowerPoint – advantages & disadvantages
  • Communication is not all about body language
  • Use of small groups in training
  • Brainstorming: you may have been doing it wrong
  • Practical workshop: Videotaped presentations, coaching & feedback
Day 5 : Writing Materials & Evaluating Training
